The Journey of USM

United Sikh Mission has run over 700 eye camps, installed solar power at Gurdwaras across Punjab, built a health center, and distributed food through COVID — and this film makes the case for continuing that work.

The Journey of USM

2024

Synopsis

United Sikh Mission's fundraising film lays out the scope of what the organization has built over more than two decades: 700-plus eye camps, three lakh people served, a major solar energy project at the Golden Temple and surrounding Gurdwaras, a health center in rural Punjab providing free care, and a sustained food distribution effort through the COVID-19 pandemic. The film is designed to communicate impact clearly and specifically — this is what the money has done, and this is what it will continue to do.

The tone is not sentimental. It's direct. USM's record is strong enough that the film doesn't need to oversell it; what it does instead is make the connection between the organization's track record and the ongoing need for support. USM Fundraising Film is a portrait of an institution that has earned credibility through sustained, measurable work, and an appeal rooted in that credibility rather than in urgency or emotion alone.
