Synopsis
Manpreet Kaur Kalra is a physician and podcaster. Angad Singh is a family physician. Both are based in Seattle, both are Sikh, and both have built lives that move between medicine and advocacy in ways that don't feel like separate pursuits. The film follows them through their daily work and their community engagement, showing how two people can make activism a practice rather than an event. Neither is organizing rallies or running for office. They're doing the quieter, harder work of being consistently present and consistently useful.
The film is interested in what it looks like when healthcare and civic responsibility are understood as expressions of the same value: the Sikh commitment to the wellbeing of the community. Manpreet's podcast gives voice to conversations that need to happen. Angad's clinical work addresses health disparities at the individual level. Together, their story makes the case that being an activist doesn't require a particular stage. It just requires deciding that your community's problems are also your problems, and then doing something about it.
